In April 2023, our Sales/ Project Consultant Greg Fox was introduced to an exciting opportunity at Monarto Safari Park, and from the beginning it was clear this was going to be a special project.

After a series of collaborative on- and off-site meetings, we submitted a comprehensive quote that was approved, and the real work began. Our team worked closely with Long Contracting to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach. This included regular site inspections, detailed shop drawings, and precise service set outs and location plans — all essential for a successful build.

Over the course of the project, more than 30 site visits took place, reinforcing our hands-on commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

What was delivered:

  • Custom cool room & freezer room installation
Designed and built to spec for high performance and efficiency.
  • Halton exhaust canopies
Supplied through Stoddart, these premium canopies ensure top-tier ventilation.
  • Custom stainless steel works
Delivered in collaboration with AJ Baker, including bespoke bars, spine wall, benches, and splashbacks — tailored to fit and function seamlessly within the space.
  • Australian-made refrigeration
Supplied by Williams for both the kitchen and bar areas, ensuring reliable cold storage with local quality.
  • Cooking line fit-out
    Featuring top-of-the-line equipment from Moffat:
    • Waldorf cooking line
    • Cobra wok
    • Scotsman ice machines
    • Merrychef high-speed oven
  • Dish and glass washing solutions
Hobart equipment was installed for dish and glass washing — built for durability and performance.
  • Combi ovens
Two Rational ICP combi ovens (20-tray and 10-tray) provided by Comcater complete the cooking capabilities with unmatched versatility.

This project was a great example of what can be achieved when coordination, experience, and quality workmanship come together. The operations team at Total Commercial Equipment consistently deliver excellent work and play a vital role in every project we complete.

We’re proud to have contributed to the Monarto Safari Resort experience with a kitchen setup that’s built to perform and built to last.

Phase 2 of the project (Glamping) will be completed in the next few months. Keep an eye out for the update.
