Although the washing machine had not originally been supplied by Total Commercial Equipment, an Adelaide-based party hire company reached out for expert advice when extended wash times and wash results began impacting daily operations.
Following consultation with Phil Stott, Managing Director of Total Commercial Equipment, the main issues identified were:
- Insufficient water flow, causing wash cycles to take significantly longer than expected
- No hot water supply on site, limiting wash performance and hygiene outcomes
- Incorrect or inadequate chemicals
These factors were impacting productivity and overall operational efficiency.
Working alongside SJS Plumbing and Gas Solutions, Total Commercial Equipment recommended and specified a complete water and wash system upgrade designed to support the existing washer and improve overall performance.
This included:
- Installation of a 1000 litre break tank and booster pump
- Supply and installation of a 315L commercial electric hot water system to provide adequate temperatures for new wash programs
- Installation and commissioning of a Total Clean Washdose chemical dosing system, complete with detergents, booster, oxygen bleach, chlorine bleach and fabric conditioner
- New washing machine program options to incorporate temperature and the chemical dosing system
- Full testing and commissioning to verify flow rate, temperature, improved wash results and overall system performance
By improving water pressure, adding reliable hot water, and automating chemical dosing, the party hire company achieved:
- Reduced wash cycle times
- Improved cleaning results
- A compliant and efficient laundry setup
